Dolly Parton’s connection with Dr. Robert F. Thomas reflected her deep appreciation for a physician who cared for her family, delivered her into the world, and dedicated his life to serving the people of Sevier County. As Honorary Chair of the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation, she helped carry forward his legacy of compassion, service and commitment to community.

The Covenant Health LeConte family joins the community in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton.

Through the Dolly Parton Center for Women’s Services, her legacy remains woven into the care we provide every day.

We are grateful for her extraordinary example of generosity, compassion and service to others. Her impact on Sevier County, East Tennessee and countless lives will never be forgotten.
