Congratulations to Kanagaraj Rengaramanujam for his recent publication on low back pain!
In his own words; "This publication is a systematic review titled “Effectiveness of exercise-based, neuromuscular, and multidisciplinary interventions for subacute low back pain.” We selected this topic because low back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal conditions affecting individuals worldwide, and there is significant interest in identifying the most effective rehabilitation approaches during the subacute stage to improve recovery and prevent chronic disability.
Unlike human subject research studies, which often require ethical approval, institutional permissions, participant recruitment, informed consent, and direct data collection, systematic reviews do not involve direct interaction with human participants. However, they still require extensive and detailed academic work. The process involves developing comprehensive search strategies with multiple keywords, searching research databases, identifying relevant studies, critically analyzing the articles, compiling findings, and systematically reviewing the evidence to draw meaningful conclusions."
This particular paper was initially submitted to the journal in December 2024. Following the peer-review process and revisions, the article was accepted for publication in October 2025, and it was published online May 2026.
