Just a reminder that SunRise will be closed Thursday October 8th to Sunday October 18th. We will reopen Monday October 19th at 0745. Please utilize your patient portal if you need to get ahold of your provider during this time. If you missed an appointment this week, please call on Monday, 10/19, and we will do our best to see you sometime that week.

Starting Jan. 1, 2027, Medicaid members on the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) ages 19–64 will need to complete 80 hours each month through work, education, job training or community service. Members who are subject to the new requirements will also need to report their hours each month to keep their coverage, unless exempt.

We have had some recent changes here at SunRise. Dr. Davis has chose not to return to SunRise but to take his time to focus on his family. His North Vernon Office remains open for anyone who chooses to see him there. We will continue to offer the roller table and matrix. No appointment is needed for these services but we do recommend that you call ahead.

Diana will be decreasing her patient load so that she can enjoy partial retirement. Amy is excited to be taking on her patients so that Diana can enjoyed her much deserved time away from the office!

During these transitions, we have adjusted our office hours to Monday through Wednesday, 8-4 and closed from 11-12:45 to return calls, send referrals, complete prior authorizations, and prep for the following day. Someone will still be at the office most Thursday mornings to answer phone calls. Please double check your appointment cards at check in as your "usual time" may be slightly adjusted to accommodate Amy's full schedule. We are continuing to accept new patients by referral.

Our staff will continue to work hard to provide the same great care you have always received. If you are in need of something, please reach out through your patient portal or via telephone at 812-405-2125.

Per CSX, crossing work will take place within the city. Time frames are as follows:
O’Brien St. crossing – Shut down on July 30th – Re-open Aug. 4th.

Chestnut St and Indianapolis Ave/ St. Louis Ave./Jeffersonville Ave. crossings will be shut down Aug. 2-4.

All dates and locations are dependent on the weather and subject to change. Advanced warning signs will be posted and detours are available. Road and lane closures will occur. See map for alternate routes.
