Sometimes I’m reminded of why I really love this career. This session was one of those times. Meet Carly. She has had alopecia since she was an infant but now it has caused her to lose her brows. She is so beautiful and her attitude was honestly inspiring. She really was aiming for soft natural brows that if her brow hair were to come back, they would blend nicely. She will have one more appointment and to perfect them but already, what a difference. No more worrying about putting brows on. And what a BEAUTY she is. Thank you so much, Carly. 🖤

Peggy came and spent the afternoon with me. She added top and bottom lash liner, she is a tad swollen but that will go down with healing. Her brows- (I forgot to grab a pic before I mapped) were previously microbladed by another artist. Pics don’t really show how patchy they had healed. I knew I couldn’t “fix” them without her getting them removed with a laser. But we are working for better saturation and color. I don’t always agree to work on old permanent makeup but when I know the client understands that I can’t erase what’s there, I’m willing to at least try to help.
