We like familiarity; we want to be "comfortable". Regardless of whether or not something or someone is good or bad for us, we tend to hold on because we don't like change. Sometimes, moments of desperation lead to clarity and change. We reach a point where we realize we must let go of something to take hold of something else.

Negative, critical, condemning thoughts and words - Let Go.
Bitterness toward those who let you down - Let Go.
Unforgiveness toward those who hurt you - Let Go.
Hatred toward those who are different than you - Let Go.
Excuses, false reasons that you "can't" - Let Go.
Lies, the ones you tell yourself and others - Let Go.
Fear, the reason you refuse to change - Let Go.
No matter what you need to let go of, let go of the wrong so you can open your hands and your heart to what is right.

Willpower IS NOT the problem. Your hormones are out of balance and are sabotaging you !!

It’s not just about dropping pounds or fitting into old jeans… it’s about getting your YOU back. 💕

When insulin and cortisol shift in midlife, yes, it makes weight loss harder.

Insulin: When it’s out of balance, your body hangs onto fat and messes with your energy.

Cortisol: Stress + hormonal shifts crank it up, making it harder to burn fat and harder to feel calm.

Balancing these hormones isn’t just about looking good, it’s about living better.
The impact goes way beyond the scale:

✨ More steady energy throughout the day (no 3 pm crashes)
✨ Better, deeper sleep (finally waking up refreshed)
✨ A calmer mood and less anxiety
✨ Sharper focus + less brain fog
✨ Feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin

If you are ready to get your YOU back, I’d love to get you started and walk with you on your journey. Let’s connect!! 🌟🌟🌟

She Warned Us in 1988. We Didn’t Listen. Twenty years later, Nancy Appleton had to say it louder. The message never changed. Sugar was the addiction.

In 1988, Nancy Appleton published Lick the Sugar Habit.

This was long before keto.
Long before low-carb influencers.
Long before sugar addiction was allowed to be spoken out loud.

She called it exactly what it was.
An addictive substance that disrupts the entire body’s chemistry.

Most people ignored her.

Twenty years later, in 2008, she tried again.

This time the title was impossible to soften.

Su***de by Sugar.

Same author.
Same warning.
More evidence.
Higher stakes.

By then, the damage was impossible to ignore.

Appleton and journalist G. N. Jacobs laid out the case clearly.
Sugar linked to obesity, hypoglycemia, dementia, cancer, and metabolic disease.
Not as a fringe theory.
As a national addiction hiding in plain sight.

Sugar wasn’t illegal.
It wasn’t restricted.
It was everywhere.
In schools.
Near playgrounds.
In almost everything we ate and drank.

And once hooked, the cravings were overwhelming.

That is the part no one wanted to talk about.

These two books tell the same story, twenty years apart.
Not because Nancy Appleton changed her mind.
But because America refused to change its behavior.

This is the history of sugar reduction that keeps getting buried.
Not because it was wrong.
But it threatened powerful industries.

If you have ever wondered why this still feels like a fight.
Why does the message keep needing to be repeated?
Why do so many people feel personally blamed instead of biologically trapped?

This is why.

Some warnings come early.
Some come late.
This one came twice.
