On 12/19/2023 around 1930 Wheeler County Deputies sent a confidential informant, who was under the age of 21, into the Conoco gas station also known as the “shell” located in Wheeler, Texas. The confidential informant went into the store in attempt to purchase alcoholic beverages in hopes the store clerk would check the confidential informant’s identification.
The store clerk never asked for identification and sold alcoholic beverages to the confidential informant who was under the age of 21. Sadam Ansari was arrested and charged with Sale to Minors-alcohol.
All information gathered in this investigation will be forwarded to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
We would like to thank the citizens who provided information about alcoholic beverages being sold and provided to minors from this individual.
