Yes, it's a little hot for this early in the season. Rather than resisting the mugginess though, perhaps we can soften around it. We can follow the example of nature as we move; shifting gently with the breeze, moving slowly and softly, adapting and resting as needed to meet our body's needs.

Sunset Stretch starts this week! Join me on Tuesdays,7:00pm, at Lake Lenexa throught the summer, weather permitting. If we need to cancel due to weather, it will be posted on this page by 6:30 pm.

Bring a yoga mat, beach towel (to put under your mat) and any props you like to use. No reservation is required, as it is a public space. Three is no fee to participate.

We meet at the circular overlook just off the paved trail between the two park entrances (see pic). If you are not sure how to find our spot, just show up early, park at the Oak Shelter, and watch for the people carrying yoga mats. Follow them.😉

All are welcome to this gentle yoga class!

Peaceful Stretch classes are back at Lenexa United Methodist starting TONIGHT! Join me on Tuesdays at 7:00pm for a lovely, gentle, stress-releasing hour. No reservations and no fees, just show up and receive. Bring a mat and any props you like to use (blocks, strap, blanket etc). All are welcome!
