Meet Mikayla, our summertime concierge and one of the friendly faces helping keep things running smoothly at BA Salon Collective.

She is learning the flow of the salon, supporting our guests and team, and getting an inside look at the industry before beginning her own apprenticeship after Charlize completes hers. We are excited to have Mikayla with us this summer and even more excited to watch what she grows into next.

Featuring my friend Emily’s head and the very important reminder that even after 20+ years behind the chair, sometimes you absolutely do not nail it the second time either. 😂

Was the vision there? Yes.
Did the hair immediately agree with the vision? No.

So we adjusted, learned something, and kept going because corrective color is occasionally just two artists staring at a head saying, “Okay… interesting.”
