The sentence I wish someone had told me before I burned out running two clinics and nearly losing my family.
"You can be the best physical therapist in the room and still miss the biggest thing."
I had two clinics. $3 million in revenue. Patients loved me. My staff respected me. From the outside, I looked successful.
Inside, I was falling apart.
Lying on my couch with COVID, I could hear my kids playing in the next room—and instead of wanting them to come in, I dreaded it because I knew I'd snap at them again.
God wasn't first in my life. My wife got the worst version of me. My kids got whatever patience I had left.
Somewhere between the fever and the silence, God changed my perspective.
For 19 years, I'd been treating bodies—joints, muscles, tendons, range of motion.
But the woman with chronic low back pain who had seen provider after provider wasn't just dealing with injured tissue. Her nervous system was overwhelmed.
Chronic stress had become part of her story. She was carrying far more than physical pain.
I realized I was often treating only one part of the problem.
That realization changed everything.
I stepped away from the career I'd built and embraced a different vision:
Mind. Body. Soul.
Today, I combine regenerative technology with a whole-person approach that recognizes the connection between physical pain, stress, and overall well-being.
Now when someone walks into my clinic, I don't just ask,
"Where does it hurt?"
I ask,
"What are you carrying?"
That single question has led to conversations—and breakthroughs—I never would have experienced before.
