That ball is a lit Kevlar contact fireball. You can't see the flame in the daylight — but everyone holding it knows it's there.

Some of the most important fires in our lives work the same way. The heat is real. The transformation is happening. You just have to trust what you cannot always see.

This was one of dozens of moments from the Gathering that reminded us WHY we gather. Community is the ember that keeps us lit.
