Hello friends! I just wanna address a couple things real quick.
First; I’ll be getting to emails/forms tonight and tomorrow so be on the lookout. I’ve taken some time away from social media due to some life stuff and overall mental health.
Second; THANK YOU for those of you that left reviews for me on this page. Since I’m pretty vocal about my moral compass and human rights, my business usually gets review bombed by stunted individuals. Your kindness to my shop doesn’t go unnoticed. This place is a reflection of me and it’s the most vulnerable thing about me. So thank you again- for reviewing, sharing my work, and just your overall support.
Third; as an artist I have the right to refuse a design and refuse business if something doesn’t align with me. I don’t often get any flack about this, but I just want to reiterate the importance of trusting your artist- even if that means having a request denied. There are tons of artists out there besides myself and I’m totally okay with “losing” money if that means you don’t walk out with a bad tattoo from me. Tattoos can be subjective to a degree, but if I feel uncomfortable with a design, the process, the person- I have a right to refuse. Which I try not to decline offers often, because I love a challenge if I’m looking to build my portfolio in that way.
Fourth and final: Please do not send me AI images for tattoo reference. I understand that it’s so easy these days to do. I even at one point was vocal about how good they were for references back in the day. However, seeing people lose their homes to data centers in Kentucky and the insane water usage for maintenance truly cuts deep into my soul. I think AI can have a place for many IMPORTANT, life-saving things, but since there are no regulations in any capacity here in KY- I just cannot justify it when used in a “creative” manner.
✨Art is never just about the end goal- it’s the journey. I’m not saying you should struggle when creating art- but what I am saying is to try. You cannot learn if you do not try.✨
