I got on Christi’s table this week...and walked away seriously impressed.
After doing massage for as long as I have, I notice the little things: pressure, intention, how someone listens to the tissue, and whether they’re just working where it hurts or actually following what’s happening in the body.
Christi’s pressure was excellent. Deep in a way that felt really good, without ever feeling like she was forcing anything. She used a lot of myofascial and trigger point work, addressed the issue I came in with, and I felt incredibly well taken care of throughout the entire session.
Unexpectedly, I also had a pretty significant emotional release on her table as she worked through connective tissue in areas where I’ve held tension for years. It was one of those reminders of just how much we can carry in our bodies.
One of the coolest parts for me was getting to experience how much Christi’s work has continued to grow and evolve since she joined our team. Her massage felt confident, intentional, intuitive, and incredibly skilled.
And for those of you who have been on my table and love the way I work, I would feel completely confident putting you on Christi’s. Our styles aren’t exactly the same (no two therapists are!), but there are a lot of qualities in her work that I personally really value in a massage.
I left her table feeling lighter, cared for, and genuinely impressed.
Proud to have her at Body and Soul Wellness 💜
