I stand against ICE and their inhumane treatment of human beings. As an immigrant owned small business, this is personal. I honor the solidarity of today’s shutdown and the collective refusal to participate in systems that harm our communities.
Shutting down means boycotting big box corporations that profit from exploitation.
BUT
It also means choosing to support local, POC owned, and small businesses that are rooted in care, culture, and survival. I rely on my community to make a living for my family, just as my community relies on spaces like mine to exist for everyone’s healing journey.
Our doors will remain OPEN today. This space has long been a safe portal for those who enter, whether you come for the healing plant medicine we offer or the loving energy we share. Even if you do not purchase anything from me, there will be a cup of tea waiting to balm your heart and steady your thoughts.
Do not isolate. Be with the people and the community that shape the world you want to live in. We need one another now more than ever. I love you.
