Meet Coach Grady! 🎉
He is officially on the schedule and is super excited to motivate, challenge, and push you all to be the best you can be!
A few words from Grady:
Hi, I’m Grady and I’m super excited to coach here at OTF Tualatin! I’m a 20-year-old Certified Personal Trainer and a senior kinesiology student at George Fox University. Following my graduation, I plan to continue coaching as I pursue my doctorate in physical therapy. Prior to coaching here, I have experience as a PT aide, shift manager, and youth CrossFit coach. On the side, I also work as a hospital rehab aide and on-campus at GFU as a teaching assistant and the kinesiology club president. I’m extremely passionate about the fields of fitness and healthcare, and I intend to channel that passion towards seeing you all become a better, happier, more resilient version of yourself every day.
What initially hooked me into Orangetheory was the science and evidence behind it. When a professor mentioned the ins and outs OTF’s science-based tracking in a lecture last spring, I felt compelled to become a trainer, and here I am now! The camaraderie and challenge that this journey has shown me is nothing short of incredible, and I’m so excited to grow in my coaching journey as I watch you all grow alongside me in your physical and personal life.
When I’m not coaching, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’d most likely be doing schoolwork or sleeping. But in my free time, you’ll see me with my fiancée Makenzie, my family, and dogs. I’m a huge basketball and NBA fan and I am slowly learning how to play the guitar. I also enjoy cooking, watching movies, and of course, weightlifting and exercising! Thank you everyone for all of the love and support so far, I’ll see you in the studio!
