Meet another one of our AMAZING camp speakers!!
Dr. Dana Lehman received her PsyD. from Widener University where she focused her studies on integrative health care and health psychology. Her dissertation research examined insulin restriction as means of weight loss in adolescent and young adult women. Her graduate internship was completed on the Eating Disorders unit of the Belmont Center For Comprehensive Treatment. After graduating Dr. Lehman began working full time at Belmont, eventually become the the director of the outpatient eating disorder treatment program.
In addition to her work at Belmont, Dr. Lehman opened a private practice in 2011 in center city Philadelphia where she works with patients with eating disorders, gender and sexuality issues, and chronic health conditions. Her own diagnosis of Type I diabetes at age 11 informers her treatment approach when working with patients and families.
Dr. Lehman is currently employed as a supervisor at AIDS Care Group, in Sharron Hill, PA where she works with patients struggling with opioid addiction. She is a frequent guest lecturer at local universities and maintains her private practice.
In her free time, Dr. Lehman enjoys spending time with her amazing twin daughters, traveling to developing countries, and drinking entirely too many coke zeros.
