Congratulations to Tracy for this week's leading with heart! A very happy family member had this to say!
When my mom was admitted to the facility she was very upset and didn't want to be there. Tracy with her kind and loving way became a beacon of light for my mom. My mom felt safe and cared for. Every Time she saw Tracy she felt even better. Tracy has become my moms ray of sunshine. My mom knew she wasn't alone and would light up any time Tracy was around her.

Gwenn holds a degree in recreation and leisure services management from East Stroudsburg University, a CTRS certification, and a master’s in healthcare administration from Wilmington University. With 14 years of experience across various care settings and leadership roles, Gwenn brings valuable expertise to our facility. Whether she’s hiking or planning fun activities for our residents, Gwenn is all about bringing joy and energy to Mifflin Center. We look forward to her contributions in enriching our residents’ lives.

We had an amazing time celebrating Oktoberfest with our residents and staff! A huge thank you to our incredible activities department for organizing such a fun event filled with laughter, delicious pretzels, and refreshing root b**r! 🍻🥨

Congratulations Amy for winning Leading with Heart! Amy is the definition of a true team player, always stepping up and willing to help out wherever she is needed. No matter the floor or the task, she is always there for our residents with a smile on her face. Amy is especially recognized for her amazing work on our dementia unit. Working with residents who have a hard time understanding requires an extra dose of patience, and Amy handles it beautifully.

Alicia demonstrates compassion, dedication, and genuine care for our residents on a daily basis. A staff member recently witnessed Alicia go the extra mile for one of our residents who was in need of additional support and attention. Her willingness to take the time to ensure this resident felt cared for and supported is a true reflection of her commitment to providing exceptional care. Thank you for all that you do Alicia!

Congratulations to Justine for winning Leading with Heart!
Justine is one of our best housekeepers. When asked to escalate a cleaning issue to her supervisor, she demonstrated initiative by addressing the problem herself. The room was restored to an excellent standard. Her consistent efforts in the 200 hall result in rooms that are nearly spotless. Justine is courteous and demonstrates a strong commitment to the building, its residents, their families, and her colleagues. She consistently exemplifies dedication and leadership in her role.
