I have a few tins of Goldenrod salve made up. Did you know that goldenrod is good for urinary tract health, kidney health, allergies, inflammation, sinus, mucus, aids in healing of sores. Many relate goldenrod to allergies but it's actually more ragweed that causes the allergy due to the light pollen it produces and can be blown around. Goldenrod pollen is carried more by insects. I've been filling tins with lavender salve and trying my hand at lavender lip balm today. Anyone that places a rose scrub order gets a free lip balm. The scrubs are $10 each. The lip balm packaging doesn't look very pretty but I've been wearing it all day and it glides on nicely. It is straight from the lavender in my garden with vitamin E added for healing. Anyone who receives one, please let me know your thoughts on it! Be honest! They are selling for $4 each separately. If they sell, I have some peppermint I could try also. 😊

Sometimes I get so busy making salve, I forget I have gardens of my own to deal with. Finally I picked my berries and made some items, weeded and cleaned the greenhouse and flower beds. Time to harvest my lavender next and add that to the lineup. Check out the post a day ago of the refrigerator that lists all the salves and scrubs I have in stock. Chicory blowing in the wind. It's a pretty flower but don't confuse it with others that look close to it. You can ingest Chicory, it is part of the Dandelion family. Some like to eat it on salad, it would be pretty to look at but I've been told it's bitter tasting. I personally haven't eaten it, I apply it to my abdomen and feet. When I come across it while on the job, a hard hat is my collection tool. This salve won't last long, the flowers are hard to find and don't live long. Get your tin while it's available.

While out on a rig site visit today, a crop of chicory was spotted. Last year it was a best seller so tonight I made a batch of salve. This plant has been utilized as far back as the Ancient Egyptians for headaches, digestion, inflammation, weight loss, fluid retention. $15 for a 4 oz tin
