I’m really excited to offer a ReConnection BreathWork Journey at the beautiful new Solaris Yoga in Shoreham.

These sessions are for those carrying a lot lately.
The overwhelmed. The sensitive. Those navigating stress, change, disconnection, grief, transition… or simply feeling the need to come back to themselves again.

A space to breathe.

There are a few things I don’t waver on. And I’m more than okay saying them out loud.

Here’s what I mean-

⟣ You can’t force your way into healing.
If the body doesn’t feel safe, it will hold on… to weight, tension, emotional residue. That’s protection. When the system feels safe, it opens. And when it opens, things can finally shift.

⟣ Cathartic healing without preparation and integration can re-traumatize the system.
Big releases can feel powerful, but without the capacity to hold what comes up, they can overwhelm the body. The work isn’t just the release…it’s how you’re supported before and after.

⟣ Hydration isn’t just about water.
The body needs proper mineral balance to actually use it. More water isn’t always better. Better hydration is.

⟣ Calling ultra-processed products like the Impossible Burger “health food” reflects a disconnect between marketing and what actually supports the body.
If it’s engineered, chemically treated, and ultra-processed, it’s not supporting the body… it’s something the body has to deal with. Many of these products are heavily exposed to chemicals like glyphosate. I consider these “edible” items “Franken-food”. That’s not health. That’s marketing.

⟣ Not all practitioners and “healers” are safe to work with.
Holding someone in a vulnerable state requires real training, awareness, and integrity. Without that, people can be opened up without being properly supported… and that can do harm. And I say this from experience. I’ve felt what it’s like to be held by someone who wasn’t fully equipped or embodied in their work. And I’ve been harmed. Use discernment and ask for credentials.

⟣ Circadian rhythm is not optional.
Your body responds to light, darkness, and timing. You can’t out-supplement a body that’s out of sync.

⟣ No peptide or “fix-it” pill overrides a misaligned lifestyle.
The body responds to what you do consistently… not what you try to override.

This work isn’t about doing more. It’s about working with the body instead of against it. ReConnecting to nature and yourself is more powerful than you may realize.

That’s where things actually change.

The body can only hold so much before it asks for release…or finds its way, subconsciously.

So much of what we carry never fully moves. It stays in the system… shaping how we feel, how we respond, how we move through our days.

This work creates space for that to shift.

Through breath, we gently open the system… allowing what’s been held to surface and move, without force.

Because the body doesn’t release on command.
It releases when it feels safe enough to.

When that begins to move, the body finds a different rhythm. Less holding and less effort with more room to breathe.

And from there, it’s about how you stay in relationship with that shift… so it can continue beyond the session.

Perimenopause & Nervous System support smoothie.

This was not one of my random, in-the-moment concoctions. This was a very intentional creation.

Everything is intentional.

It’s layered support…for energy, hormones, the nervous system, and what’s happening beneath it all.

The way this is built…steadying blood sugar, restoring key minerals, and layering in deeper support…gives the nervous system what it needs to soften out of stress and settle.

Protein, collagen, fiber, and a small amount of fruit help prevent big spikes and crashes.

Dragon fruit + blueberries bringing in that antioxidant, vitamin-rich support the body leans on more than we realize. Given the state of our environment, we certainly require more antioxidants.

Spinach for mineral support that helps everything run smoother.

A little banana…just enough to round it out, support potassium balance, and keep things feeling less puffy.

Protein + collagen…to ground it, build, and support connective tissue & collagen production (don’t forget the vitamin C, necessary to utilize the collagen)

And then the deeper layer…maca, reishi, ho shou wu, pearl. These pieces support you in ways you don’t always see right away, but feel over time: hormones, sexual energy, grounding, longevity, and natural calcium.

Whole foods.
Thoughtful additions.
The kind of nourishment the body recognizes and responds to.

Ingredients:

1/2 C Frozen dragon fruit
1/2 C Frozen blueberries
1 C Fresh spinach
Banana (1/2)
1 C Soy milk (added protein & hormone support)
Scoop of Collagen peptides
One Scoop of KOS Vanilla Protein powder (can sub chia or h**p seeds, almond butter, or any protein you have. I use this one because it’s one of the cleanest)

⟣ Healing is not just a moment of release. It’s the ongoing tending of the body, nervous system, mind, and spirit.

⟣ Breathwork can help gently release the emotional debris the body has been carrying, allowing the nervous system to soften and intuition to become clearer. Though, each journey must have integration steps in order to return to the body and assist with rewiring the nervous system well beyond the experience.

⟣ This is especially supportive for women moving through the profound threshold of perimenopause and menopause, a time when the body is asking us to listen more deeply than ever before. Remember, you are also opening the most powerful & wise portal within, though moving through this time can be difficult. Stick with me for more tips and advice for how to be in alignment, naturally. I’ll also be recommending specialists in this space for you to connect with for further assistance. Stay tuned for more.

⟣ I’ve also been at work behind the scenes for a gathering space here on the North Fork where women can come together during this stage of life to share experiences, learn, and support one another. Thank you to my ladies who have inspired this circle. Community is paramount to these sacred times. 🌹

Spring is when things begin to move again.
Not just in nature, but in the body. And it is our natural new year.

In this ReConnection Breathwork journey, we’ll explore the natural rhythm of the nervous system—moving intentionally through activation and deep restoration. Both are necessary. The body needs to mobilize energy, release what it has been holding, and then learn how to return to safety.

When emotional debris begins to clear from the system, the body begins to remember its natural rhythm. The nervous system softens. The mind quiets. And the voice of intuition becomes easier to hear.

In a world full of noise and competing narratives, that inner knowing is the most important guide we have.

This work isn’t only about the experience in the room. You’ll also leave with a deeper understanding of how to support and integrate your nervous system at home, so the restoration continues long after the session ends.
