Today is ASL Day!🤟 A celebration of American Sign Language and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH) community.

ASL is more than a language; it’s identity, culture, and access. It allows Deaf and HOH people to communicate, express themselves, and build community in powerful and self-determined ways.

At the Center for Disability Rights and the Regional Center for Independent Living, we proudly provide Deaf and DeafBlind services, along with Sign Language Interpreting Services through Sign Language Connection, Inc., to support accessible communication and inclusion.

True accessibility includes communication. Learning and supporting ASL helps break down barriers and create more inclusive spaces for everyone.

Let’s continue to learn, advocate, and uplift the Deaf community. Not just today, but every day.
