The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) will accept Scattered Sites and Hollywood Heights applications for the two (2) bedroom units beginning at
8:30 a.m., CST, Tuesday, July 28, 2026, and
closing at 4:30 p.m., CST, Friday, July 31, 2026.
Applications from families will be accepted and placed on the waiting list for the program selected.
Online applications can be submitted at https://hacsla.com/apply-for-housing/ No paper applications will be available.
Assistance to complete the application process, due to a disability, will be provided by telephone at 318.698.3636 or 318.698.3632
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026
Applications will be ranked by the HACS based on the date and time the electronic information is entered.
Applicants will need the following items in order to complete the application:
•A valid email address
•Names, social security numbers, and date of birth for all household members included on the application
•A valid mailing address at the time of application
•Total household income
•Pen and paper to write down confirmation number
Applicants are responsible for keeping their addresses updated in the Applicant Portal.

Mary was born on May 4, 1925. She’s the oldest living sibling of 17 children and a mother of two. She loves spending warm days on the porch watching cars go by, reading her Bible, and enjoying candy. Mary says the key to a long life is praying to the Good Lord, who’s blessed her with 101 years.
