A couple of our students proudly representing LSUHS at the National AAPA Conference! 🩺💜💛 This weekend was filled with lots of learning, networking, and growing alongside students and providers from across the country. We are grateful for the opportunity to represent our program and bring back new knowledge, inspiration, and connections!

At the LSU Health Shreveport Physician Assistant Program, hands-on learning is at the heart of everything we do!

Throughout their time in the program, our students gain invaluable experience working with standardized patients, allowing them to practice real-world clinical skills in a supportive, structured environment.

By interacting with SPs and live patients, our students build confidence, refine their communication skills, and develop the clinical reasoning needed to provide exceptional patient care.

🎉 Shoutout to our clinical year PA students as they complete their final rotations - last month, whoop whoop! Graduation in August is just around the corner, and we are so proud of all they’ve accomplished.

We are also incredibly grateful for our partnership with Ochsner LSU Health and their Shreveport and Monroe campuses for helping train and support our students so well throughout their clinical journey. And providing free housing to our students in Monroe!
