Who doesn’t want to eat and read a good book? 📚🥫
For quite some time, I’ve wanted to add a Little Food Pantry alongside our Little Library in front of the clinic. We often have patients asking how they can give back to the clinic, and we had a few special patients who decided to make this dream a reality. It couldn’t have come out better!!
Using materials they already had at home, along with a few shingles donated from Lowe’s, they built this beautiful Little Food Pantry from scratch. They even dug the hole and installed it themselves! To make it even better, it includes a solar-powered light so visitors can easily see what’s available, even after dark.
So, what is a Little Food Pantry?
A Little Food Pantry is a community resource where people can donate non-perishable food items for others in need to take—no questions asked and no judgment. It’s a simple way neighbors can help neighbors.
If you’d like to support this project, feel free to drop off non-perishable food items and help us keep the pantry stocked for those who may need a little extra assistance.
A huge thank you to the generous patients Kevin and Patty Barker and Steve Barker (I used their names with permission) who donated their time, talent, and heart to make this happen. ❤️
Take what you need. Leave what you can. Together, we’re building health, hope, and community.
