Congratulations to our watermelon seed spitting winner Mr. Larry. He says that her had a confession... he's really a professional at this. Ya see when he was just a lad his daddy would make him put a mouthful of seeds in and as he went down the road he had to spit them out and plant them. Therefore, he had an advantage on the other contestants. Way to go Mr. Larry!

Silsbee Oaks Health Care is blessed to be able to call Rhonda Tanton our Activities Director. She has been featured this week in our very own home town Silsbee Bee. Rhonda has been with us since September 1999. She continues to give her all every day for our residents and staff alike. She is also very active as a part of the area community. Please help us to show some appreciation for this wonderful lady. Thank you for all you do!

Happy Father's Day! Last week, Mr. Chester Sangwin came and brought his grandson Ty Hoffman's beautiful classic car for us to take photos with. We appreciate Mr. Sangwin so much! Our guys had quite a few stories to share about this particular model and lots of wonderful memories as well. Times have changed drastically, and so have makes, models, and just things in general. There's so much that can be learned about one's life just by listening to their stories from the old days.
