Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation’s Outpatient Clinic on Linden Lane in Silver Spring helps patients with limb loss improve mobility and function to achieve their therapy goals. Our amputee, spinal cord injury, stroke and brain injury programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities - an organization that sets the highest standards of care for rehabilitation programs internationally. We provide the following services:
- Prosthetic consultation
- Physical therapy
- Pain management and education

Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation also offers support services to assist our amputee patients in maintaining their activity levels and a life-long continuity of care.

For 25 years, Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation has helped patients return to the moments and activities that matter most.

After cancer treatments and a complex surgery left him severely weakened, Bill McDowell arrived at rehabilitation with one goal: get back to living his life. Through determination, family support and a dedicated care team, Bill worked toward that goal one milestone at a time.

Today, he's back behind the wheel of his boat, traveling with family and working on projects he loves.

We danced the night away for an important cause, breast cancer awareness! 💗✨

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, Adventist HealthCare’s annual Party in Pink Zumba brought our community together at Rio to raise awareness about the importance of early breast cancer detection. Dominique, director of women's imaging, spoke before the party started to encourage women in attendance to book their mammograms and get screened!

Glowing luminaries lit up the night in honor of breast cancer survivors and the hope and resilience they inspire.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered and supported this event!

Last week, we gave our breast cancer survivors and their guests a reason to wear that outfit at our Nowhere to Wear It party! 💃

Ball gowns, onesies, favorite costumes and outfits that simply felt right - it was a night to show up as yourself and reclaim the moments cancer took away. We walked the pink carpet, danced, struck poses in the photo booth and cheered each other on during the best-dressed contest.

Most of all, we loved seeing survivors connect and celebrate together. Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the night! 📸💕
