Sundays are reserved for restoring our family time with each other, our neighbors, and our creator.

My daughter and I have been intentionally going to Sunday worship for about a year. This time of restoring our family bonds has been critical to helping me recognize my blessings and bless others.

This will be the only Sunday post this month as I will not only honor my intentional restorative time, but honor yours as well. I hope that you take an intentional step out of social media and into your family and worship, whatever that looks like for you. There is no wrong or right way to do it. My heartfelt belief is to just love one another where you are.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

We have been really busy switching our intentions from summer to fall, play to sports practice, and late nights to early bed times.

I am intentionally slowing down this long weekend to spend protected time with my kids. They are my biggest motivation and my biggest fans. If you don't protect your intentions and your big dreams, change won't make a difference.

What intentions will you protect this month with isolated time, extreme focus, or sacred relationships?

With colder weather comes more comfortable food. Soups, pasta dishes, homemade bread, all the things that warm us up from the inside out make their fall appearance and don't get me wrong, I love a slow-cooked soup with thick slices of warm sourdough. But what happens to me, is I choose comfort over nourishment and by January, my body shows my choices.

Instead of some crazy fad shift in my food choices, I am shifting my mind first. I need nourishing food to give me energy and inspiration for the upcoming season because I have a lot to do. I get to choose foods that bring me mental clarity and the ability to obtain knowledge. I get to choose foods that keep me full and satisfied in one helping. My mind gets to focus on what my body needs rather than hyper-focused on counting calories or shaming myself when I do enjoy a warm fall meal.

Today's influences are shoving quick fixes down our throats instead of lifestyle adjustments and intentional eating. What works for you, might not work for me. I'm glad to hear suggestions and success stories, but I also need to learn what my body responds best to, which creates the shift in my mind from comfort to nourishment.

A lot can happen with a shift in the mind and an intention in the kitchen. What could you shift? Have you made a shift that has given you more nourishing results?

Soul-filling movement is a little different than a workout. This type of movement is something you do with two big intentions. #1 to move your body, especially as we transition from summer activities to fall to sedentary winter. #2 is movement with a purpose, with intention, with meditation. Movement that moves your mind as much as it moves your body.

For me, a brisk walk through the grass to check on all my feathered friends in the solitude and quiet of the morning is a way that my body gets movement but my mind also gets movement. It soaks up all the little miracles that I see and the blessings around me. It fills my soul.

What kind of movement fills YOUR soul, as well as keeping your body moving?

As the seasons change, so does our circadian rhythm, the natural internal process that regulates our sleep-wake cycle and repeats roughly every 24 hours. As the days grow shorter and the mornings are a bit overcast, our bodies begin to adapt their rhythms to the changing amounts of daylight. In the longer, sun-drenched days of summer, our bodies often feel more energized and active, while the shorter, dimmer days of winter can lead to a natural inclination towards rest. This seasonal change is a testament to our intentional connection with nature and the environment around us. Embracing this natural ebb and flow can help us maintain a balanced lifestyle, ensuring that we remain in sync with what our body needs.

It is crucial to embrace each morning and every sunlit moment. Start the day with exposure to natural light to help regulate your internal clock. Incorporate an outdoor activity into your morning to absorb what sunlight you can. This will help uplift your mood and enhance your morning energy.

My rhythm is wake-up between 4:30am-5am and shut down around 10pm. What does your circadian rhythm look like?

When was the last time you intentionally sat in silence?

There is a profound power in silent, intentional time spent with your thoughts and feelings, your journal or Bible, your imagination or your dreams. This silence shouldn't feel debilitating or overwhelming, it should be a blessing and an opportunity to gather your thoughts, put them on paper, and intentionally set your day in motion or close your day with gratitude and release.

The beginning of this 30 day unfolding of transition begins with silent, intentional thoughts.

If you haven't yet, message me for the link to the companion journal that will offer daily prompts to intentionally start and end your day.

I listened to a great webinar today. To be honest, I signed up because it's a friend's daughter and I love supporting women owned businesses, especially owned by women who align with my same purpose, helping women succeed.

What I expected was some insight on a book she published. What I got was actually a glimpse into really making my business successful financially.

I'm excited to get my hard copy of Keep More Cash by Sheena Jones. And who knows, she might just show up for a meet and greet to help other women in business with their financial goals. Is that something you would come to?

Have you heard?🎒📚🏫 There's a huge back to school sale happening.

I love all of these products, not only for back to school time, but for preventative wellness. These products all help in getting my family back into the habit of good hygiene and protecting ourself from unwanted extras as we get re-introduced to our school and friends again. Because these specific products (especially On Guard), create our preventative wellness plan, we are able to stay pretty healthy as we transition back into school with our supplements for internal support and everything else for external support.

This sale goes through the 28th with 15% off all the products seen.

If you want to know more, give me a holler. You can message, text, call, or grab me at the grocery store or at the Silver Valley CARES Mental Health Fair on Saturday.
