Twelve years ago today, my mother passed away. I wasn’t told she was dying. I wasn’t given the chance to say goodbye. Somehow, I was deemed not worthy of knowing. There is still pain in what was taken from me that day. But I refuse to let the cruelty of that moment overshadow the beautiful woman my mother was or the profound spiritual experience that followed. Because when my mother passed, something extraordinary happened. She came through me, and that day I learned who I was.... I felt her move through my entire being, and then she left me with something I still can’t fully put into words: an overwhelming, unconditional love. A love so powerful that it transcended everything that had happened. Twelve years later, I still feel her in everything I do... So today, I chose to practice in her honor to become quiet enough to connect more deeply with my consciousness, to open myself to her presence, and to allow her to visit me in whatever way she chooses. And what a powerful day to do so. We are beneath the Sturgeon Full Moon, following yesterday evening’s beautiful lunar eclipse, surrounded by extraordinary energy. I feel her today. I will celebrate her today. I honor the love she somehow found a way to leave behind within me.
Mom, I feel you.
I carry you.
I celebrate you.
And I love you always 🤍🤍🤍
