New Workshop Series coming this October!
Hdraya: a 3 part meditation immersion with Jackie
Hṛdaya** (pronounced *hrid-eye-ah*) is a Sanskrit word meaning **heart**—not simply the physical heart, but the spiritual heart: the sacred center of our being where awareness, love, wisdom, and our deepest Self reside. Across many contemplative traditions, the heart is understood as the meeting place between our individual lives and something far greater than ourselves. It is a place we do not create, but remember—a place we return to.
In Meditation for the Love of It, Sally Kempton describes meditation not as something we strive to master, but as a loving relationship with our own deepest Self. Rather than trying to become someone different, meditation invites us home—to the quiet, steady presence that has always been within us.
This three-part immersion is an invitation to deepen your relationship with your Self through the wisdom of the heart.
We spend much of our lives following our thoughts, reacting to our emotions, and trying to make sense of the sensations that move through our bodies.
Yet beneath all of these experiences is something quieter, steadier, and infinitely more spacious.
This series invites you to gently shift your center of gravity—from the constant movement of the mind into the spacious awareness of the heart. Through meditation, reflection, movement, creative practices, and compassionate inquiry, you’ll cultivate a relationship with the part of you that can lovingly witness every thought, emotion, sensation, and life experience without needing to fix, change, or reject any of it.
As our practice deepens, we begin to discover that love is not something we have to earn or create. It is the very ground of our being. From this place, we naturally become more compassionate toward ourselves, more present with others, and more able to meet life’s joys and sorrows with openness.
We begin in October. DM me for details.
