8,000,000+ Nationwide, the largest single day protest in US History!!

3,000+ people attended No Kings 3 in Sioux Falls.. 👏👏👏

In a time where everything feels divided, this weekend felt like the opposite. People coming together, sharing space, building connection, choosing to show up for something bigger than themselves.

That’s what community actually looks like.

I’m really grateful to Indivisible 605 for creating a space where people felt safe enough to gather, speak, and be heard.

And I’m beyond grateful for this community, and for my clients who have become family. The way you all show up, for each other especially, is something really special.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected or unsure where you fit in… this is your reminder that there is a place for you in this.

We’re building something real! ✊🪧

We don’t build community by watching. We build it by showing up!! 👌

No Kings Day 3.0
Hosted by Indivisible 605 & 50501 Movement

🗓 March 28th
⏰ 1PM–3PM
📍 Drake Springs

This will be the biggest one yet.

If you care about what’s happening in our community, this matters.
And not just your presence… your voice.

Talk about why you’re coming.
Share it. Invite someone.
Have the conversations people avoid.

That’s how this grows. That’s how this becomes something real.

We don’t need everyone to say the same thing.
We need people willing to say something.

And if you want to come prepared, we’re gathering the night before. We want to build community and help in that connection so people feel safe to participate and so know they have friends out there in our community!💕

🗓 March 27th
⏰ 6PM–9PM
📍 The Painted Lady

✍️ Protest sign making
🍲 Potluck
🤝 Community connection

Come make your sign.
Meet the people you’ll be standing beside.
Step into it before we take it outside.

No kings. Just community. 🖤

I wanted to add a little context to the update in this post.

Lately my days have been completely packed with tattoo appointments and my nights have been filled with a lot of the community work I’ve been involved in. By the time I finally sit down to go through messages it’s usually really late at night, and honestly I hate texting clients at 10 or 11pm. It just feels inconsiderate to be blowing up someone’s phone that late.

Because of that I’ll sometimes wait until the next day to respond, and by then a few more messages have usually come in. My day starts back up around 10am, so that only leaves me a small window in the morning to try and work through everything before appointments begin.

I’m also actively trying to work on having a healthier work life balance, which means being a little more intentional about when I’m answering messages and doing admin work instead of being “on” every second of the day.

If you reached out and didn’t hear back yet, please don’t hesitate to message again. I promise it won’t bother me at all. I would much rather have someone reach out a second time than accidentally miss them while I’m catching up.

I truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while I work through everything. It means a lot to me. 🖤

Sioux Falls works best when we listen to each other.

That’s exactly what this event is about.

We’re hosting the first Sioux Falls Community Conversations. A space where residents and City Council members can sit down together, ask questions, share perspectives, and talk about issues impacting our city, including the proposed TIF and other community topics.

This isn’t a debate stage or a place for shouting. It’s an opportunity for thoughtful dialogue, curiosity, and respectful conversation about the future of Sioux Falls.

Strong communities are built when people take the time to listen and engage with one another. Our hope is that this can be the start of many conversations like this in the future.
