The Breakthrough T1D Walk in Sioux Falls is a community walk led by dedicated volunteers, bringing together families, friends, and supporters to create a future without Type 1 Diabetes. As we gear up for walk day, we’re honored to share stories from members of the South Dakota community whose lives are impacted by T1D. 💙
Today, we’re sharing Brittany Lambcke’s story:
“I walk for Krew. 🤍
He’s a funny, kind, brave little boy who loves baseball, camping, and making people laugh… and who faces Type 1 Diabetes every single day with a resilience that humbles me.
I walk for the sleepless nights, the endless decisions, and the invisible weight this disease places on children and families.
But most of all…
I walk for hope.
Hope for easier days.
Hope for brighter futures.
And hope that kids like Krew always know they are surrounded by a community walking beside them. 🤍”
It’s not too late to register and join us as we walk together for a future without T1D: https://www2.breakthrought1d.org/site/TR/Walk/NorthernMidwestTerritory?pg=entry&fr_id=10790
