Growing up, Aveda Artist Ashley Mitchell thought certain services and levels of hair care were only meant for certain people. “When I learned that hair is hair and everyone deserves access to education, quality care, and confidence, it changed everything for me,” she says. Education helps break down exclusion and builds trust between stylists and those whose hair they’re caring for.
