It’s not always about the bottom line. It’s about making a difference.

Last week, I had the privilege of speaking as a public citizen on behalf of UNC Johnston Health during the Certificate of Need hearing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services—advocating for the placement of a PET scanner in Smithfield to better serve our community and region.

Access to advanced diagnostic care shouldn’t be a barrier. It should be a standard.
