Last week, I had an autoimmune flare that seemed to come out of nowhere. 😩
But instead of just asking, “How do I make this flare go away?” I’ve been asking a different question:
What happened before it started?
I’m looking at the days and weeks leading up to it—stress, sleep, food, activity, illness, my environment, and anything else that may have put extra stress on my body.
Because maybe autoimmune flares aren’t always as random as they feel.
Maybe our bodies are giving us clues.
I’m learning to look for my own patterns and potential triggers so I can better support my body and hopefully prevent or lessen future flares.
Do autoimmune flares really just come out of nowhere—or could they be connected to triggers in our environment and what’s happening in our lives?
I’m curious—have you noticed patterns before your own flares? 🤨
