Tomorrow is Smyrna’s birthday! Come to the center of town (just across from our building) and join the celebration 11 am to 11 pm. We hope to be able to take some of our residents out to enjoy the festivities as well.

Some highlights from our Sunday afternoon, gospel sing-along. We like to sing songs that most people know and can easily follow along with. Come join us next Sunday at 3 PM to sing with us!

I used to imagine that my dad was trapped behind an opaque pane of thick glass called dementia, and that sometimes, for reasons neither of us understood, the glass would clear up and get thinner and I'd be able to see him, the him I'd always known, more clearly.
