✨ NEW to AWMA Snohomish: PDGF + Microneedling

I put a lot of thought into every product and treatment I bring into my practice. I look for safety, solid science, evidence-based results, and most importantly, results that are consistent and predictable. I also personally use the products I bring in. If I wouldn’t use it on my own skin, I’m not offering it to you.

That’s why I’m SO excited to officially add PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) as a microneedling booster here in Snohomish.

What makes PDGF so exciting? It’s truly regenerative.

“Smoker’s lines”… but you’ve never smoked? 👄

Despite the name, those little vertical lines around the lips aren’t just caused by smoking. Repetitive movement of the muscles around the mouth, combined with collagen loss, sun exposure, genetics, and changes in skin elasticity over time can all play a role.

For this client, I used a two-step approach rather than trying to correct everything with filler.

First, we treated the upper lip with a small amount of Botox to relax the muscle and soften the repetitive movement contributing to her lines. Then we waited two weeks for the Botox to fully kick in before adding filler.

Why Botox first? Relaxing the muscle helps reduce the movement creating the lines AND makes the remaining etched-in lines easier to treat precisely. At her follow-up, I used very small amounts of dermal filler directly in those lines to gently smooth them,without adding unnecessary volume to her lips.

✨ Botox helps with the movement. Filler helps with the lines that remain at rest.

The goal is never to erase every line or make you look “done.” It’s about choosing the right treatments, using the right amount, and keeping you looking like you—just a little more refreshed. 🤍

And yes… you can absolutely have “smoker’s lines” without ever smoking.

Okay, all jokes aside… I really do love my pets and lower face tox 😎 🤍

First time my cat’s made it onto the feed, and I already know some of you are here for him, not my thoughts on aesthetics 😹

But since I’ve got your attention, let’s talk about one of my favorite treatments: lower face tox 👀

I love it for those subtle refinements around the chin, jawline, and mouth. It’s one of those treatments that makes a real difference while still looking completely natural ✨

So yes ; I love my pets, downtown Snohomish… but I also really love lower face tox 😂💉

One of my favorite kinds of results: the ones you can’t quite put your finger on. ✨

Under-eye concerns aren’t always about “dark circles” or needing more volume. Sometimes it’s the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek that creates a tired appearance.

In this case, the goal was subtle correction , softening that transition while preserving the natural anatomy of the under-eye.

Refreshed. Rested. Still completely you.

This is why I love an individualized approach to facial aesthetics. 🤍
