Therapy is built on relationships, consistency, and individualized care. Because clients stay with us for different lengths of time depending on individual need, appointment openings don’t become available on a predictable schedule.

Rest assured we are getting through our waiting list as quickly as possible when we do have openings. We know waiting isn’t easy, and we appreciate your patience. 💜

We often get asked, “How do you become a therapist?”

We’re always happy to share what goes into this meaningful work, because becoming a therapist is quite the trek! Along with undergraduate and graduate degrees, our therapists complete extensive supervised training, pass state and national licensing exams, and maintain ongoing continuing education requirements.

So when you sit down with one of our therapists, you’re not just getting someone who cares… you’re getting a highly trained professional who is committed to providing quality care. 💜

Our therapists Karla Payne, LPC and Rachael Beynon, LMFT are spending time the next few weeks providing education to Western Texas College faculty, staff, and students on mental health resources and how best to support others experiencing mental health challenges.
