Yesterday was National Grief Awareness Day. Abbey Hospice is blessed to offer a wide variety of grief support. You do not have to have been a family member of an Abbey patient to join our support groups. If you know a friend or family member who may benefit please share our information.

This is a great question and happens often. 🩷 We have patients that “graduate” ☺️ and they come off the program and come back when the time is needed. We also have patients that are just not immanent but still need our services so they met the proper requirements to stay on services. A huge fear people have is that once they sing up for hospice care, their family member will decline. This picture below shows you those signs and symptoms that were more then likely already occurring before hospice was involved, it just may have taken a hospice nurse to start pointing those symptoms out and putting it all together for you.
