Dear clients,

I'm happy to announce I've moved into a sunny, two chair Suite 116 in the building, in the far front corner, with Matt Middleton, who's a lovely fellow 🌞

There's a bench in the adjacent hallway on the way there for you to wait, if I'm still sanitizing after the previous client. I will be expanding my hours to five days a week, Monday through Friday and still keeping one Sunday a month.

Due to the rent increase associated with this move and rising overhead costs, my fees will be increasing slightly, by $5 in the new year, beginning January 1, 2026. There will also be a 3% fee for credit card charges, but none on any of the other payment options such as Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, check or cash.

I will be keeping my referral program of clients receiving a complementary bottle of shampoo for every new client they refer who comes in for service. I would greatly appreciate your support with referrals! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Today is the opening day for the Del Mar fair! Please check traffic for the best route before your appointment… otherwise you might the subject to 5 light changes at the Via de La Valle intersection

I love doing a diffuse dry on curly hair! If only I were better at taking before and after photos, instead of remembering only after my clients walk out the door and asking them to take a quick pic for me! 😁

Dear Clients,

Unfortunately, our coffee shop has closed. Being that they’re no longer in the front area and we’ve no one at reception on Sundays and Mondays, the door will be locked for security on those days and past 5/6:00 in the evenings. Please text me when you arrive and I will let you in when I’m done with the client before you.
Sorry for any inconvenience; there are several other cafés in the area…

Dear clients and San Diegans, if you’re trying to get anywhere near Del Mar or Solana Beach, pleased expect traffic delays as early as 9AM Wednesdays through Sundays until after July 7. Best to check traffic for best routes ahead of time.
The San Diego Fair is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, mercifully. 😅

Dear Clients,

As you might’ve seen, I will be out out of work for 10 weeks, starting August 13, due to a shoulder surgery. I will, however, be working all the way up until that date. You can contact me if you would like to reserve time on the books for appointments through August 12 or we can schedule at your next appointment.

Nicole has reduced her hours, so I am currently looking for other stylists to take care of you while I’m away. More to follow…

Also, heads up: Del Mar Fair starts up on June 12 and closes later this year, on July 7. Expect delays during Fair hours on Via de la Valle Wednesdays-Sundays, so you may want to check traffic before heading out for your appointment.
