✨ Coming off birth control doesn’t have to mean feeling like your body is completely out of control.

When I decided to come off birth control, I wanted to be intentional about how I supported my body through the transition.

Instead of waiting for symptoms to show up, I focused on my foundations first.

That looked like:

✨ Targeted supplementation based on what MY body needed
✨ Epigenetic testing to better understand my nutritional and wellness needs
✨ Hormonal testing after coming off birth control to see what was actually happening beneath the surface
✨ Laser therapy to support scalp and follicle health
✨ Cold atmospheric plasma treatments to support the scalp environment
✨ Prioritizing protein, nutrients, hydration and whole-food nutrition
✨ Supporting my body’s ability to handle stress, detoxification and hormonal changes

And honestly? I’ve experienced little to no noticeable negative effects from coming off birth control.

Now, I know everyone’s body is different, and coming off hormonal birth control can affect people very differently. My experience isn’t a guarantee for someone else.

But it reinforced something I talk about with my clients all the time:

Your body needs the right foundations before you can expect it to function at its best.

It’s not about throwing supplements at symptoms.

It’s about testing, learning what your body needs, and supporting those needs BEFORE the wheels start to fall off.

And when it comes to hair? This is especially important.

Hormonal changes can influence the hair cycle, scalp environment, inflammation, nutrient demands and so much more.

That’s why I don’t believe in looking at hair loss as just a hair problem.

Your hair can be a reflection of what’s happening throughout your body.

Support the body. Support the scalp. Support the follicle. 🌱

That’s the foundation of my approach to hair and wellness.

If you’re experiencing hair loss, thinning, or changes in your scalp, don’t just treat what you can see. Look deeper.

Your hair is influenced by much more than shampoo and topical treatments — sleep, stress, nutrition, gut health, hormones, inflammation, and your overall health can all be pieces of the puzzle.

My approach is to combine scalp evaluation + personalized data + internal support + targeted treatments so we can stop guessing and start creating a plan based on you.

We talk a lot about nutrients for hair growth—but have you ever thought about oxygen? 🫧

Hair follicles are some of the most metabolically active structures in the body. During the growth phase, follicular cells need energy, nutrients, and adequate oxygen availability to support healthy hair production.

That’s where circulation becomes important. 🩸

And when we introduce technologies such as ozone/plasma, the goal isn’t to simply “pump oxygen into the follicle.” Ozone is different from oxygen. Instead, it creates a controlled oxidative stimulus that may influence cellular signaling and the scalp’s local environment.

✨ Think of it as supporting the environment around the follicle, rather than forcing something directly into the hair bulb.

This is one reason I look at hair loss from a scalp + follicle + whole-body perspective rather than treating the hair shaft alone.

Because sometimes the question isn’t just:

“What product should I put on my hair?”

It’s:

“What does my follicle need in order to function at its best?” 🌱

Movement for your hair health. It’s more important than you think-

* 🩸 Supports circulation — Movement increases blood flow, helping deliver oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, including the scalp and hair follicles.
* 🧘‍♀️ Helps regulate stress — Regular movement can help lower the physiological impact of chronic stress, which can disrupt the hair-growth cycle.
* 🔥 Supports metabolic health — Physical activity helps with glucose and insulin regulation, which can influence hormonal and inflammatory pathways involved in hair health.
* 🌿 Supports healthy inflammation balance — Consistent movement can have beneficial effects on systemic inflammation, creating a healthier internal environment for hair growth.
* 😴 Improves sleep quality — Regular activity can support better sleep, and adequate sleep is important for the body’s repair and recovery processes.

You don’t need an intense workout to support your hair. A daily walk, strength training, yoga, or simply getting your body moving counts.

Your scalp deserves the same attention you give your skin. ✨🌱

We spend so much time protecting and caring for our face, but often forget that our scalp is skin, too—and it needs intentional care.

As we age, the scalp can experience changes in circulation, barrier function, collagen, and oil production. Oxidative stress can also contribute to cellular damage and inflammation, creating an environment that isn’t ideal for healthy follicles.

That’s why I believe scalp care should be personalized, not one-size-fits-all.

Your scalp may need hydration, exfoliation, barrier support, calming ingredients, or simply a more consistent routine.

✨ I create personalized scalp care routines based on what I see through scalp analysis, your concerns, and your individual needs.

Your skincare routine shouldn’t stop at your hairline. 🌿

Traction alopecia is hair loss caused by repeated or prolonged tension on the follicles—often from tight ponytails, buns, braids, extensions, or other styles that continuously pull on the scalp. Early traction can be reversible, but continued tension can eventually cause permanent follicle damage. (American Academy of Dermatology)

That’s why identifying it early and changing the habits contributing to the tension is so important.

I love being able to pair what we can see with the naked eye + objective scalp data to track changes over time.

Your hair loss journey deserves more than guessing. It deserves a plan—and a way to measure progress. 🔬
