I have made it back to Sonoma county calif.
I have been working m-fr nights since I got here, and spending time with family during the days.

Let's do coffee and or a hike.

Yesterday I left to calif.
Spent first night at the midwifery farm school.
So incredibly peaceful.

Then I woke up today at the farm. Went slow. I did not see a car or person until 10am. I sat and just listened. Around 11am went to dome, but the holiday had most everything closed up. So I meanedred my way to the swimming hole!!! Incredible!!!!!! I sat a while.
Then made my way back to welcome center, chatted a few min.discussed publishing, Ina May Gaskin of course, and prepped for a group visit w our team!!! So excited.
Got to chat on phone w a few peeps. That was nice too as I am always so busy I don't get those hr long chats.
And About 1245 p cst I hit the road. Little sad to leave. Gas still hovering around 2.79 gallon.
Drove thru a freaky 5 min storm that had my car nearly swimming. Aaaand then it was clear and dry. Saw a big snake in the road. Met a nice harley dude from tx. Watched a Gorgeous sunset.
445 miles today. Overall it was great!
Tomorrow I make my way to amarillo tx and hug Natasha Sagan one of my best friends.

First night on the road heading to calif.
No traffic, roads were clear, it is so quiet here.

Made reservation!
I am leaving on Sunday after church.
Checking in at the farm at 5pm to car camp at #%@$ campground.
Hoping to connect with some birth workers again, while there.
So excited!
