I'm finally back from Brazil! 🇧🇷

I'm still feeling a bit drained out because of the delayed flight on the way back, but sitting here now, reflecting on the trip, my heart is just incredibly full.

This adventure was exactly what I needed to completely refill my cup. We give so much of ourselves every single day, and stepping away to soak in the energy, the culture, and the memories was pure magic.

But there was another layer to this trip that made it deeply special for me.

Before heading back to Brazil, I made a quiet promise to myself to focus on my health and get fit. It wasn’t just about the vacation.

It was about showing up for myself, building consistency, and feeling strong in my own skin.

Realizing that I actually pushed through and achieved that goal gave me an overwhelming sense of fulfillment. I was able to embrace every single moment feeling comfortable, confident, and wearing my body proud.

Not because it’s "perfect," but because of the hard work, self-love, and resilience it represents. 💪🏽💛

Anyway, it's so good to be back home, but this trip is truly one for the books.

Becoming a mother should not be the reason we forget how to love ourselves.

It should be the reason we learn to love ourselves more deeply.

Because our children are always watching.

They're watching how we speak to ourselves.
How we care for our bodies.
How we handle hard days.
How we value our own needs.

When we constantly put ourselves last, we're teaching them that self-sacrifice is the price of love.

But when we care for ourselves with kindness and intention, we're teaching them something far more powerful:

Doing things for yourself should neither be a flex or irresponsible.

But somehow, for moms, it became both.

Either you're showing off for taking that workout class or you're neglecting your kids for needing a vacation. There's no in-between. No version where a mom just... takes care of herself without it meaning something.

And that's the real problem.

Because when "taking care of yourself" becomes either a luxury or a moral failure... you stop doing it altogether. And nobody notices until you're completely gone. Not physically. But the version of you that existed before you made yourself so small.

Nobody talks about what that does to your kids either.

When they watch you skip rest, skip meals, skip anything that looks like a need of your own, they're not seeing love.
