The Grove includes a serene 80 bed residential facility in Ascension Parish, wellness-centered outpatient campuses in Baton Rouge and Ascension, and numerous transitional living homes for men and women. The Grove is a haven of healing and transformation for people seeking a path of recovery from substance abuse, and is dedicated to helping clients live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. In 2018, after coming close to death, Sheena knew she had to make a change. That fall, she emailed Denise and asked for a chance. Denise said, "Come on in."

Eight years later, Sheena is our Assistant Clinical Director, and she'll tell you it isn't work. It's her passion.

🎉 Happy Birthday, The Grove! 🎉

11 years ago Denise opened the doors of the Grove , and 5 years later Cody joined her and combined their mission with one simple belief: everyone deserves a real shot at FREEDOM from addiction.

Since then, we've watched people walk in carrying more than they could hold and walk out with hope, purpose, and a future. We've seen families come back together and lives get rebuilt, one day at a time.

Every year we get to do this work is a gift. Thank you to our staff, our alumni, our families, and our South Louisiana community for walking this road with us.

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22–23)

We're hiring male and female techs at our Sorrento campus. As a Recovery Advocate, you'll work with patients on daily care and peer support, and you'll be someone they can count on.

A lot of our staff are in recovery themselves, so that experience counts here. If you've been through recovery, you know what a patient needs to hear on a hard day.

If you're new to the field, this job is a great way to start a career in treatment.

We were honored to represent The Grove Recovery Center at Faith & Blue, hosted by Grace Fellowship Church.

The EBRSO Community Police event brought neighbors, local faith leaders, and law enforcement together in one place. Recovery is a community effort, and showing up for events like this matters to us.

Amanda, Kayla, Sheena, and Trevor met families, answered questions, and shared how The Grove helps people find freedom from addiction.

"Once I saw her clean, it was like a totally different person."

Ariana was six when addiction pulled her family apart. She spent years wondering what she did wrong, until she learned it was never her fault.

Today her mom is sober, works here at The Grove, and spends her Wednesday nights reminding women in recovery that they're worthy, that they're more than they think, and that God loves them. And now there are family nights, Christmas together, and a daughter who says, "I love her a lot, and I'm proud of her."

Recovery doesn't just change one life. It gives families back to each other. 💚
