We offer six one-week sessions in the summer & off-season programs called the Millhouse Mingles. Camp Millhouse was founded in 1937 and held at various locations until 1940 when the late Mr. & Mrs. Charles Millhouse donated eleven acres of wooded property in Greene Township of St. Joseph County, ten miles southwest of downtown South Bend, Indiana. The camp is currently operated by Camp Millhouse I

nc., a not-for-profit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. Camp Millhouse is an accredited camp by the American Camp Association. Camp Millhouse has grown to it’s present size of 45 acres through the generosity and nurturing support of the Board of Directors and the surrounding community. Camp Millhouse has survived solely on the support of the community, through fundraisers, other monetary donations and camper fees. We are not a United Way agency and do not receive government monies. We have been able to provide amazing experiences for our campers each and every summer thanks to the generous support of our donors.

Two Different Medicaid Issues. One Serious Impact.
We’re hearing from many families who are struggling with Medicaid-related challenges, and it’s important to understand that there are two separate issues happening right now.

Waiver Denials & the interRAI Assessment: This issue affects whether a person meets the required level of care to qualify for waiver services.

Medicaid Eligibility Redeterminations: This issue affects whether a person remains eligible for Medicaid coverage based on paperwork, income, and other eligibility factors.

While these are different processes, both can result in individuals losing access to vital supports and services.

We are sharing this information on behalf of our friends at Indiana Families United for Care. If you experienced or are experiencing either of these issues, please take the Indiana Families United for Care survey. We want the data to show the scope of these issues and help push for meaningful change.
