What do you want to be healed for?
Not what symptom do you want gone.
Not what diagnosis do you want to overcome.
What do you want your health, energy, and vitality back for?
Years ago, when my digestive health was in shambles, I thought I wanted to heal so I could eat cake again.
But that wasn’t what I actually wanted.
I wanted joy.
Not the joy that comes from eating whatever I want whenever I want, but the kind of joy that comes from feeling fully alive, deeply fulfilled, and connected to something meaningful.
Every major healing crisis in my life has ultimately led me back to the same question:
What am I here for?
In the yogic tradition, there is a concept called dharma.
Dharma is the unique role you are here to play in the larger unfolding of life. It reflects both your responsibilities and your gifts—the ways you are called to grow, contribute, create, and serve. As you evolve, your dharma evolves with you, inviting you into deeper alignment with who you truly are and what you are here to offer the world.
Recently, I asked a woman I am working with what she wanted her energy back for.
She said:
🪴Simple everyday tasks.
🪴Her partner.
🪴A sense of purpose and fulfillment through helping others.
And I noticed something.
The thing she most deeply desired was last on the list.
People want more energy.
For what?
People want less pain.
For what?
People want more money.
For what?
People want a relationship.
For what?
Many people say they want a life of purpose and fulfillment, but when they are truly honest with themselves, it’s not their top priority.
It’s what comes after.
After they fix their body.
After they make enough money.
After they accomplish enough.
After they get the promotion.
After they retire.
After everything else is finally handled.
But what if purpose isn’t the reward at the end of the journey?
What if it is the path?
🌿🌿🌿 What if the body is far more willing to invest energy in a life that feels meaningful than one that is merely trying to survive? 🌿🌿🌿
The body doesn’t just want to survive.
It wants to participate.
