A little Bella Claire update 🤍

As some of you may already know, I managed to do myself in pretty good and am currently healing from a fractured rib, along with quite a bit of soreness and inflammation from the injury. Thankfully, all of the scary stuff has been ruled out, but I’ve been given a healing timeline of about six weeks.

I definitely don’t plan on disappearing from the studio for six weeks! 😂 But I do need to listen to my body and make some temporary changes while I heal.

For the next few weeks, I’ll be limiting the number of pedicures I do each day and avoiding services that require prolonged bending, twisting, or reaching which unfortunately means facials are on pause for now. I’ll be taking things day by day, so there may also be times when an appointment needs to be adjusted depending on how I’m feeling.

I know my schedule is already very full, which means I have limited flexibility when appointments need to be moved. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as I do my best to balance healing while still taking care of all of you.

So many of you have already been incredibly kind and understanding, and I cannot thank you enough. I’m so lucky to have the clients I do and am beyond grateful for all of your support. 🤍

For the next few weeks, we’re operating with a little extra patience, flexibility…and apparently a reminder that I am no longer 25. 😂

A little Bella Claire behind the scenes today. 🤍

I’m so excited and grateful to share that I was selected for Venture Forward South Berwick, an eight-week business growth program through Northeastern University’s Roux Institute.

Today was our first in-person day in Portland, where I got to meet my mentor and connect with the other local business owners in our cohort. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs from completely different industries, all there to learn, grow, and figure out what’s next for their businesses, was so inspiring.

When I opened Bella Claire, I knew how to take care of my clients and the kind of space I wanted to create. But learning how to run and grow a business has been a lot of figuring things out as I go.

That’s why this opportunity feels so special. I’m excited for the next eight weeks of mentorship, collaboration, emerging technology, and real business strategy.

Bella Claire has grown and changed so much over the years, and I’ve grown right alongside it. I’m excited to learn, be challenged, and think about what’s next for this business.

So grateful for opportunities like this that support small businesses right here in our community. Here’s to the next eight weeks and wherever they take Bella Claire. ✨
