We are so grateful for community members like Linda Carper, who recently stopped by Thomas Memorial Hospital to share the heartwarming work she and her sewing group, Sew Much Love, do for our community. ❤️

Linda generously donated a beautiful handmade blanket for our OB/Newborn Unit and shared that she and the Sew Much Love group will be back to donate handmade quilts to our Pediatric Unit as well! 🧵💙

A very special thank you to Brooke Hylbert, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Southern West Virginia, for her thoughtful donation of books, coloring books, crayons, and especially pinwheels and bubbles for the Inpatient Pediatric Unit Toy Closet at Thomas Memorial Hospital!

As an extension of WVU Medicine Golisano Children’s, our pediatric unit provides compassionate, specialized care for children and families in southern West Virginia. 🧡💙💛❤️

With respiratory season around the corner, pinwheels and bubbles can help encourage little ones to take deep breaths and exercise their lungs, while also making their hospital experience a little brighter.

We are so grateful for community partners like Brooke and Ronald McDonald House Southern West Virginia who help bring comfort, joy, and fun to our pediatric patients.
