There’s a big difference between prescribing a medication with established safety data and monitoring protocols… and prescribing a research peptide that is still being studied.

Medications like tirzepatide can be prescribed responsibly when patients are properly screened, educated, monitored closely, and treated within current medical guidelines.

Retatrutide is different. It is still investigational and not FDA-approved for prescribing outside of clinical trials. “Everyone else is doing it” is not a safety standard.

Innovation matters. Science matters more. My job is not to chase trends — it’s to protect my patients while delivering results responsibly. 🖤

Some days I’m a business owner.
Some days I’m answering emails with one hand, reheating the same coffee for the 4th time, and wondering why nobody told me motherhood was basically project management with snacks.

Being a woman means somehow juggling a business, a family, a social life, appointments, responsibilities, and the mental load of 47 invisible tasks at all times.

Do I have it all together? Absolutely not.

As someone who normally follows FDA guidance very strictly, I still think it’s important to recognize that not every treatment used safely around the world is approved in the United States. Different countries have different regulatory systems, timelines, and pathways for approval — especially in aesthetics and medicine.

After doing my own research and looking into its widespread global use, I felt comfortable trying this treatment while abroad in Ireland. That doesn’t mean every non-FDA-approved treatment is automatically safe, but it does mean there’s often more nuance to these conversations than people realize. ✈️✨
