Something I think about a lot as someone who lives with chronic illness and teaches nervous system informed healing work:
Most wellness content assumes every body can reach a stable, calm baseline with enough practice. And for a lot of people that's genuinely helpful information.
But if you're living with conditions like hEDS, POTS, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, or chronic pain, your baseline isn't fixed. It shifts depending on barometric pressure, hydration, pain levels, how long you've been upright. These are physiological realities, not regulation failures.
Holistic healing tools have real value. They're just not the whole picture for complex bodies.
