✨ SKINCARE, CONFIDENCE & COMMUNITY! ✨
A huge THANK YOU to Flawless Aesthetics & Wellness in South Hill and Meghan Harris for spending the evening with us and teaching our participants, mommas, and sisters all about skincare! 💕🧴
Meghan walked everyone through skincare routines, explained how different products work and why taking care of our skin is important, and gave everyone the opportunity to take a look inside the SkinScope. Participants were able to learn more about their own skin including dryness, oiliness, and signs of sun damage and how that information can help determine which products may work best for them.
And, of course, our Bailey Center team had to get in on the SkinScope fun too. 😂 Apparently you cannot put a machine in front of us that promises to reveal what our skin has been up to and expect us NOT to look. Some of us may have learned more than we were emotionally prepared for. 🤣
We are also incredibly grateful to Flawless Aesthetics & Wellness for the wonderful skincare goodie bags featuring OBAGI Medical products that everyone was able to take home and enjoy! 💗
Experiences like this are about so much more than skincare. For our participants, learning how to create and follow a personal-care routine builds independence, confidence, self-care skills, and healthy habits that can carry into everyday life. Getting to learn those skills alongside moms, sisters, friends, and our team makes it even more meaningful.
This is exactly why community partnerships matter so much to us. When local businesses and professionals share their time, knowledge, and resources with our participants, they help us create opportunities to learn real-life skills in a welcoming, inclusive, and FUN environment.
