Let's give a warm welcome to NP student Anna Papkee, who will be joining MainelyNP for the summer!

My name is Anna Papkee, and I am currently completing my master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner student at St. Joseph’s College in Maine. I live on Long Island, Maine, with my husband, our 2.5-year-old daughter, and our Goldendoodle, Seguin. I worked in the surgical ICU for 8 years as an RN and currently work in a urology outpatient office, where I enjoy building long-term relationships with patients as they navigate urologic conditions. I hold a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being on the ocean, and running during the summer months.

Yesterday direct primary care saved my patient $100 on medication.

He has insurance, but his copays are much higher than the wholesale pharmacy I can order from.

In office dispensing also saved him a trip to the pharmacy.
