This November, , it's important to understand the facts about Pet Cancer and Canine Cancer. Pet dogs in particular are considered a "sentinel" species as they truly live our lives, breathe our air, eat our food, drink our water, etc. As a result, our four legged best friends develop many similar cancers to those in humans, as well as a few others. Scientists believe these are likely tripped by many of the same factors that contribute to cancer in people. It will take us all working together to find more effective treatments and to put an end to canine and pet cancer! Learn more at https://bit.ly/3bITEAh

We're learning more each day that, as in people, pet cancer is influenced by multiple factors - lifestyle, environmental exposures, nutrition, age, genetic predisposition or sometimes, unfortunate genetic luck. is a good time to reflect on what we can do for our pets to live healthier lifestyles, be aware of predispositions, ensure we have regular exams and screenings (early detection) and more. At CnK, we're working to advance comparative oncology and translational research - involving academia, industry and other cancer organizations- to help solve the puzzle of cancer in our pets (canines) and the people who love them.
